9.2.3.5 Image Name Short

When the Image Name field is used, a special variable name of image-name-short can be used in a Merge Template in order to obtain the image name as it is displayed, and as it is saved on disk – rather than the complete file name for the image, which is the value returned when accessing the image-name variable.

This can be especially useful when converting one Notenik Collection to another using a Merge Template, in order to access the image name as it needs to be written out into an actual Note file.
