New Collection Setting for Tags Display Placement

Added a new Tags Display Collection setting to control the placement of the Tags field. You can choose to have it above the title, below the title, replacing the upwards navigation for streamlined reading, or to not display at all.

Made Some Changes To Display of Tags Field

Made a number of changes to the way the Tags field is displayed.

Fixed Tag Linking for Published Web Books

When you click on a tag displayed along with a Note, Notenik attempts to link to the same tag on the Tags tab. For a published web book, though, there is no Tags tab! So now, if you include the Markdown command to Generate a Tags Cloud, or Generate a Tags Outline anywhere within the same collection, Notenik will instead link to the same tag on that generated page.

Titles Treated as Markdown

Notenik hasn’t always been consistent about how it treats the Title field when using it in an HTML document or fragment. Made some changes to apply Markdown parsing to the Title field when used in this context. This is primarily useful in applying styling within a Title field.

Index Page Sort Changed

When a collection index is generated, multiple notes indexed with the same term will now appear in the Collection’s sort sequence, rather than being sorted always by the Title field.

Added CSS Class of attribution-following

When you Include a Note or File with an include style of quotebiblio, the resulting blockquote for the quotation will have an HTML Class Value of attribution-following.

Expanded Linkage Between Class and Level Fields

In some collections it may be useful to have a tight correlation between Level values and Class values. When Notenik observes this sort of correlation, the New Note with Options screen will attempt to suggest the appropriate level when a class value is entered by the user.

Added a New Authors-Table Command

Added a new Markdown command to Generate an Authors Table.

Fixed a Sortable Table Problem

Fixed a Problem with the Markdown command to Make a Table Sortable. For columns containing links, the sort was previously sorting on the anchor HTML, rather than the enclosed text. This has been corrected.

UI Change for Tahoe

The Navigation Board has been expanded to allow room for all controls.
